Karman Aerospace is a brand established solely to develop avionics systems for unmanned aerial systems. Dominik Kerschat founded the brand in 2023. In the early stages, it was only used for research purposes. Dominik started developing avionics in 2021. Now, the brand is operated by S+K Consult GmbH, located in Austria, to allow for the commercialization of its avionics products.

The brand was built on three core values. 1) Developing and manufacturing safe avionics. 2) Customer support is key in the aerospace industry. 3) Our work should improve the airspace and operation of UAVs. As EASA and FAA continue improving drone regulations toward safe operation, Karman Aerospace develops systems specifically to meet those requirements.

We use modern and agile development while adhering to approved aerospace standards and processes, which allows us to keep up with the rapidly developing market while maintaining safety. All of our products, including all custom solutions, have a dedicated safety level. We do like to make prototypes, but once they work, they have to be developed into a safe product.

Karman Aerospace constantly adapts and improves when new issues arise. We learn while developing and improving with experience. What we learn while developing will make the final product better and safer, pushing towards fully certified UAVs operating in urban environments.
