Two weeks ago, a pre-production attitude heading reference system (AHRS) took to the skies with the Joanneum Aeronautics Design Build Fly 2024 Team (DBF-24) aircraft. It gathered valuable flight data for the team to validate their design. From the 20 MB of recorded flight data so far, the team can evaluate the performance if their aircraft as well as determine load and flight envelope limits for different missions. Joanneum Aeronautics is a Students Association of the FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences Aviation Department. It is entirely lead by students and focuses on preparing them for the industry as well as supporting their talent and projects.

We can’t show the aircraft yet because it is a secret. As soon as the team is ready to unveil the design, we can share more information.
